I visited a few good exhibitions last weekend in London that were definitely good for research into Victorian London and also Dickens's view of London through his published worked. Hopefully helpful resources for your Victoriana adventures.
Dickens and London at the Museum of London - The exhibition guide is located here and there is a very nicely illustrated book accompanying the exhibition. A Hankering after Ghosts: Charles Dickens and the Supernatural at the British Library - a collections of Dicken's books with ghosts in them, with pictures and info about the societies and crazes that swept through Victorian London linked with all things supernatural -------------------- ![]() 222 off being the Devil member |
